At one time I admitted that I weighed 288 lbs. I might have weighed more but was afraid to admit it to even myself. I did have the thought of reaching the Goal of 300 lbs! (Only because I was so close, and I thought it kind of a funny thing to do.) I could not even carry the 288 lbs it hurt so, I had to lose. About 5 times, in the past 30 years, I have gone down to 200.5 lbs, and a year ago I went under 200 lbs to 194 ..but guess what I forgot I had to hold it down there.

I started to lose again, two months before joining Sparks, and I weighed 250 lbs, and I started Sparks at 232 lbs.

I started to lose again, because I am Officially labeled, and am a Diabetic now since 2003, and probably like most, was Diabetic many years before that.

In 2010 - 2020, I was Out Of Control! My sugar numbers were going over 200 most every night. I didn't feel good, but didn't feel that bad either. During these years my weight went as high again as 232. Same old up and down. I've only had a few weeks on and off of being in the sugar range my Doctor wants.

If I want to live, and in one piece, I Have to Change! I am going down once again, once again I am going to try and do good every day.

I Can't wait any longer! (Again)
I want to live Well for the remainder of my years.
I don't want to be FAT any longer.
I want to be a Diabetic in Total Control.
I want to LIVE, and with all the pieces I have now.
I Don't take any medicines, and I don't/won't ever start.

In 2018 and 2020 was even worse that my sugar is WAYYYYYYY out of control and I am determined to get under 200 pounds.. again.

My Goals:
I want to see the scales go down Every week.

I want to become a Diabetic in TOTAL Control

.. my waist under 34"
.. my A1C under 7
.. my Cholestrol -200
.. my HDL over 40
.. my LDL under 130

I want 1 hour of exercise/walk/work etc movement incorporated into my day for Life.

I never want to take Medicines.

I want to find the good in life and relax and enjoy, and stay away from all the negativity.

I want to always be able to take care of myself.

I want others to also succeed.




My Program:
First I am getting my sugars under control.

I eat to obtain good sugar levels.

Next, I need to find a way to then eat for the sugar and also to lose.

I want to add more exercise.

I try to stretch and move each day.

I am also trying to enrich my mind with reading, and attending events.

I also hope I can help motivate others to improve their lives.

    I saw your post on Outdoor People also and wanted to tell you what a great job you're doing. I'm Kim, 48 from the Pittsburgh area, love hiking, biking and kayaking. also hope to someday hike the Appalachian trail. I applaud you for getting down to 203 and hope to help support you to get to your goal weight below 200 and beyond. My sister Robin weighs approximately 232 also and she keeps going from 280's down to 201 and then right back up. It's almost lik,e she sabotages herself when she gets close to 200. You can make it! We'll get to our spark goals together. kim
