Finally, despite hypothyroidism/meds and being post-menopausal, and almost 14 years on SparkPeople, those last pesky 20 pounds I've carried for years are gone. It took getting control over sugar!! Finally, despite hypothyroidism/meds and being post-menopausal, and almost 14 years on SparkPeople, those last pesky 20 pounds I've carried for years are gone. It took getting control over sugar!! I'm nearly 61 and I've not been at this weight for 20 years! I'm playing with where I want to reset my goal weight (since I reached the original goal), hoping to lose another 5 pounds. We'll see if my body cooperates. I figured out what my "happy weight" is and I'm content with that, but another 5 pounds would give me room to play with in maintenance.

I've cleaned up my teams and my Spark friends. Most importantly, I joined a very important team: At Goal and Maintaining + Transition to Maintenance. They have a great page of resources that I'm starting to work my way through. My goal with this team: SET MYSELF UP FOR MAINTENANCE SUCCESS!!

 I used to be on Weight Watchers, using their online tools. I want to track more than what WW has available (sodium, potassium, calcium).

I also have a full gym available at work (free of charge) for the first time. I plan to use it.

    Greetings dear one!

    Decided to use this venue to yell out at you. Wonderful to see you on the gratitudes thread...no matter that you can't always post.

    I'm in a continuing SERIOUS state of "decompression" two days into being here. Yoga this morning helped alot.

    I haven't told you -- Kansas City Junior League REJECTED my app this year. Been doin' the show eight years now. They say they rotate through vendors to keep the mix interesting for buyers. I guess that's what's going on. It was a major disappointment but, as is said, nothing happens by accident. So we'll see what's coming in its place.

    I'm doubly sad, because it was our obvious opportunity to meet. We'll make it happen somewhere, somehow!

    Australia is within shoutin' distance now. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO exciting!
