2018 GOALS update. GOAL Weight 149 lbs. DAILY:
1) Rise, brush teeth, make bed, dress to walk dog
2) Attend exercise class Mon and Thurs
3) Track food on phone APP
4) Follow KETO plan - limit carbs.

The SCALE DOES NOT LIE. PURCHASED A FULL LENGTH MIRROR, SCALE, JOURNAL. July 2015 weight =198

Goals for Barbara 2018
1) 10 minutes talk to God, listen for His voice, and get moving
2) Daily exercise a minimum of 30 minutes.
3) Size 10 by December 2018
4) Visit Yessie monthly
5) Read one book per month
6) Drink more green tea, more cleanse waters
7) Goal weight by January 2019 = 148 pounds
8) Wear size 10 jeans
9) SMILE more, ENGAGE people again
10) FEEL AMAZING in my bathing suit

1.Quit dwelling on past failures to lose weight

2. Stop eating packaged foods, limit carbs

3. Stop isolating and WALK, do floor exercises, GO TO GYM

4. Limit time on FACEBOOK, meet people FACE to FACE

5. STOP doubting GOD and believe He gives me strength

6. STOP comparing my body to others. My husband loves me as I am

7. QUIT making excuses. JUST SAY NO. EAT FOR FUEL not EMOTIONS

8. QUIT complaining and start APPRECIATING the body God gave me

9. STOP trying to control Mike or anyone. Practice disciplining my tongue

10. QUIT taking my health for granted. Take charge!

11. STOP negative thinking. QUIT avoiding the phone and people.

12. STOP whining and trying to be perfect

13. QUIT dieting and looking for a quick fix.

14. QUIT saying “yes” to wrong, unhealthy FOOD choices


I got married in Nov 2012, retired from a stressful job in Dec 2013, and moved to Mexico in June of 2014. On Feb 3, 2015 I got a tummy tuck in Mexico and on Thursday March 26, 2015, I successfully completed the 3 day Dr Oz Detox fast with my walking buddy. THEN I travelled to USA and fell off the wagon.

LIFE IS GOOD and GETS BETTER with EACH healthy CHOICE I make. I love my new home, with my new husband, in a new country, and a new church...I am ready to get SKINNY in MEXICO...even in the midst of tacos, cheesy burritos, and spicy foods.

My Program:
Limiting carbs, sugar and gluten. Walking 10,000 steps daily. Wear FITBIT. Drinking 6 bottles of water per day. NOTHING tastes as GOOD as SKINNY FEELS.
