Diet after diet, I may have lost weight, but nothing has been permanent. In 12 years I have been blessed with 3 children and 75 extra pounds. I've spent the last 9 yrs trying new diets but none of them have kept the weight off. All this time I was hoping that miracle would come along to save me the work. Among many of my programs are Chantel Hobbs' "Never Say Diet", Biggest Loser, Slim-in-6, Leslie Sansone Walk and Kim Lyons "Your Body, Your Life". I love all of these workouts and programs.

I had my ACL replaced in January and suffer from Arthritis in my foot. I can no longer walk and run like I love, so I have started to love my elliptical and recumbent bike. In April I made the decision to get a kickstart and do the Medifast diet. It's a low calorie ketogenic diet (you burn fat rather than muscle - similar to Atkins but you get lots of veggies and low fat). In those 2 months I lost 23.8 lobs and 14" of fat!! Medifast got my stomach and my mind on eating differently and approaching food with my mind. Every bite I take is a conscious decision. I am also exercising 30-45min 5 times a week.

This is my new life and I love it.

My Goals:
My goal is to feel good in my skin. I want to feel the best that I can feel about how I am treating my body.

My goal weight is to reach 150, however, a number doesn't truly mean anything. I will know when I get there what the correct number is.

My Program:
I use the nutrition & fitness trackers diligently.

For food I keep all my snacks the same throughout the week and add them to favorites. I stick with fruits, frigo light string cheese, FiberOne bars & Hostess 100 snack packs (5g fiber only!).

I also keep track of my own dinner recipes at to ease the nutrition entry.

I am truthful to myself daily. I exercise daily - cardio 30 minutes & 2 days strength training as well. I walk in my neighborhood, on trails, treadmill and use my elliptical. I strength train with a stability ball & Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga.

I believe that attitude is only everything when ACTION is behind it.

I believe that we can all get a gold medal if we settle for nothing less.

I am encouraged daily by Chantel Hobbs ( who has an incredibl weight loss story. She motivates me to be my best and to be what God intended me to be.
