Exactly. The mentality is the best thing to have, the support around you is a definite bonus and makes it a whole lot easier. But in the end, you have to be able to rely on yourself.

One of these days I'll use that mentality to win my battle with chocolate and baked goods. haha

Delayed response is delayed. But here it is!

You wondered what my secret was to becoming so successful. Truth be told, it's not really a secret. I decided what I wanted to do, and I've put -everything- I have into it. I'm dedicated and determined. It was incredibly slow going at first and I'm so far beyond flat broke right now, but I feel right doing what I do and so I just give it all.

Now if I could only translate that success onto my physical self, I'd be set! haha!

Yes, my insurance covers the psychologist! I think I have a $30 copay, which is good because it would be prohibitively expensive otherwise (like $160/hr?)

I definitely think it helps just to have someone to talk to about this stuff. Things sometimes become clearer when can bounce ideas off of someone who knows the issues. emoticon

Aaah thank you so much for your comment. I know how you mean -- when you're insecure about something and someone feels the need to drop it into a conversation it's the worst feeling ever. I mean if I didn't feel bad about it before I will now yanno? Screw them now. And you look absolutely stunning btw! You've done so so well. I never get tired of looking through pictures of people who have similar start and end weights to me, it puts things into perspective a lot more.

Haha sorry for the ramble. Thank you again for the comment though, it's nice to know that someone else gets it

Thanks for the blog comment. I use a set of Accumeasure calipers for my body fat. I take the measurement an average of about five times each time, so if I'm kind of in between the chart listings, I estimate it a bit. So yeah, it's not -entirely- accurate, but it's accurate enough to notice if I'm dropping or not.
