Welcome and thank you for visiting my page. My name is Siegrid and I am a foodaholic or just plain addicted to food.
I have been with Spark People since February 2008 and had gone down from 220lbs to 132lbs which was past my original goal of 140lbs. I had reached my goal by october 2008 and managed to maintain until the middle of 2010, when my Dad died. Since then I have been going uphill.. I have tried and tried to restart here, but I have failed time and time again.
So, here I am, trying again.....I hope this time I can do it.

Plant seeds of expectation in your mind; cultivate thoughts that anticipate achievement. Believe in yourself as being capable of overcoming all obstacles and weaknesses..

I'm positive I can do this
I'm positive I'm making progress
I'm positive because I'm sure of myself
I'm positive because I have a goal!
I'm positive because I know where I am going
I'm positive I'll get there.

Nothing cool here but the air conditioning!

Our town is 12,000. OH tell me about it! Spring when the fertilizing begins there are no open windows! UGH Yes, our corn has been really poor to nonexistent until lately, and it’s starting to grow a little, but don’t know if much corn will be harvested. That was the problem . . . the fields were flooded and couldn’t be planted.

I could never do farming. I love gardens, etc., but to depend on it for my livelihood, couldn’t do it.

    Have a fantastic weekend.

I do agree with the Zen lifestyle, and wish I could do hot yoga but can’t handle the heat. My complaint is that the two styles do not meld. Ie Zumba Zen. There is another format based on free form dance that flopped where I taught.

Friday: Well, Jason’s contacts went well. We just have to be patient and see what happens.

Hot, hot, hot! Definitely need the a/c.

Raining and humid. Guess we’re in ‘the soup’ for the rest of the day. At least the grass and vegetation is happy with the free watering!

    Here’s to a wonderful Friday!

Thursday: Hot, hot hot, humid, humid, humid. Indoors today. Looks like we have some storms today. But not likely to cool things off.

Mammogram done today. Glad that. Glad that's over for the year. Have YOU had yours?? Take care of yourselves.
Here’s to a thrilling Friday EVE!

HUGS and LOVE learning about different places!! It's good to be proud of where you live. That's amazing that a flight could be delayed due to caribou! LOL

My subdivision where I live is pretty suburban. But we're surrounded by dairy and grain farms. This has been a touch year for the farmers growing corn with the super-rainy and cool spring. But I do enjoy seeing all the farms and definitely esy to get fresh foods.
