Here I go again. Starting fresh. Again.
Sometimes it feels like I'm just lying to myself. Like I should just forget about my goals because I'll just sabotage them at some point. Let's face the harsh truth... the past two years have been a complete standstill with regard to my weight.

I know it's harder in your 40s.
Everyone always told me that.
It's true.
I can't imagine it will get any easier as I get older.
But I can't allow myself to just give up.

I am re-committing to myself.
I will not be derailed.
My goal is to get to the 170s - solidly - by my birthday. That's in October.

Reasonable goal.
If I truly commit to this I will achieve that goal.
I'm not making it too difficult. I just want to get to the 170s and stay there. After I am solidly there for a good few months I can re-evaluate my goals. Until then - that is it.
Very do-able.

Fitness Minutes: 121,709

My Goals:
1) Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day (or water equivalent... LOVING decaf green tea!)
2) Exercise EVERY DAY!!! No excuses!
3) Stay in control of my goals when I want to grab a snack... Do I REALLY want that? Wouldn't I rather fit into that amazing dress I have my eye on?
4) Read this page EVERY DAY!!! It will help me keep on top of what I really want.

My Program:
Taking it day by day - Things I do every day:
1) Track my food!!
2) Go for a walk - inside or outside, depending on weather.
3) Continue with Pilates. It has repaired my body over the past few years & I want to keep moving forward with it!
4) ZUMBA!!! I LOVE it! It doesn't even feel like exercise!

Personal Information:
I am a 44 year old Mom of 3 wonderful children... 2 boys & a girl. I have been married for 20 (WOW) years. I live in The NYC area with my husband - BEST guy in the world - & kids. Grew up in NYC & LOVE being here! There is nothing quite like the energy of the city!

Other Information:
I am a very open person, but prefer to remain anonymous on this site because of various factors in my life. I hope that doesn't turn you off. I take being a Spark-Friend pretty seriously... I don't "collect" virtual friends. I want to develop a circle of mutually supportive people on the site & if I have too many friends I won't be able to give the support I want to give!
