Fitness Minutes: 3,417

My Goals:
¢½ Short-term: by 2013 Mid-August get my body to BEACH-READY (8/16/2013). Weigh-in at 125 lbs
¢½ Long-term: I want to weigh between 115 lbs~120 lbs and maintain it FOREVER AND EVER!!!


My Program:
*My Program:
- Wake-up 8:30 am: drink a cup of my special Herbal Aloe Tea
- Breakfast 9 am: Herbalife milkshake (cookiencream + almond milk) + 1 fruit /veggie
- Snack 11:30 am: herbalife tea + 1 fruit/veggie
- Workout 12pm - 1:30pm (Boxing/Taichi/Yoga) on Mon~Fri
- Lunch 1:30 pm: 25% lean protein (chicken/beef/seafood/tofu/black beans) + 25% healthy carbs (yams/sweet potatoes/brown rice/couscous/quinoa/corn) + 50% veggie (carrot/broccoli/green beans)
- Snack 3:30 pm: herbalife tea + 1 fruit + Aloe Gel
- Afternoon workout 5pm: 30 min elliptical training + 30 strength training
- Dinner 6:30 pm: Herbalife Shake + 1 fruit
- Before bed 12:30 am: drink a cup of Smooth Move Tea

*Drink 2L - 4L of Herbalife tea EVERYDAY!!!

*I am giving up all junk food and soda! NO

*ALCOHOL ALLOWED!!!

*Sleep more than 8 hours a day!

    I know homecoming is an important day!! We have homecoming at our college on Oct 22. It's a fun day emoticon

    Remember not to starve yourself.Eat enough calories or your body will think it IS starving and will hold onto the weight. Less is not always best. Balance is best. Watch that delicious white rice, too! We eat a lot of Asian rice because we have many Chinese, Taiwanese and Japanese students over at our house all the time. I am trying to keep brown rice for me ( but it's hard because white rice cooks faster in my rice cooker!)
    Do you eat in the school cafe or cook for yourself? School cafe's can be challenging, but it is possible. I lost 30 lbs when I was in college AND had to eat in the cafe. The thing your body needs most is balance: proper rest and sleep ( hard, when in college) great nutrition and exercise and balanced study hours. You can do it. We're all here to help!

    If your nap turned into sleep, it means your body really needed it emoticon It is so hard ro study when you are tired. The best thing to do is sleep and try to study later.

    I can only imagine how discouraged you feel after gaining weight. Please, don't let the scale decide who you are. The scale is metal, nuts and bolts and it does not care that no weight loss makes you sad. Trust what you are doing. Your body is rearranging itself.

    Last week I lost weight. This week the scale is up.ahhhhh.I'm doing all the right things. However, I can button and wear some slacks comfortably that I could not wear before. So. . . progress!!!

    The scale can make you feel like a failure because it does not know you, what you are eating, what you are doing. I have finally learned that a number does not determine my success
