I have been overweight ever since I can remember. I don't what to have the health issues that are lurking around the corner if I don't change soon!! I am ready to be more healthy. I don't think that I will ever be model material, but I want to be able to walk and not be weary and run and not faint. I want to eat good foods and enjoy them, and remember that I am a machine. I need to feed myself good fuel.
UPDATE FEB 2011: I have lost 60 pounds, I feel great, I haven't really been killing myself, but I've been steadily picking away at it. It is fun to see myself emerging from that shell. I am finding my old spunk and pluck, I find that I was using that weight as a force field so to speak to protect myself from so many things. and not I am feeling so much more so I am updating some pics here, I am a bit more exciting. I don't check in every day, not often at all, i just use this as a tracking device really. and I still go to the YMCA.

Walking 2 times a week.

Eat 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

Being accountable for what I eat.

Tracking my food intake.

Lifting weights 2 times a week.

Try to maintain the 5000 steps every day

I am a single mother of 4 beautiful children, 3 girls and a boy.

I love to sew, knit, read, stitch and garden. I am usually cheerful and happy.
