I am worth investing in. I am worth the sacrifice and the dedication. I am worth the sweat and tears. I am worth the discipline. I am worth the struggle...because I AM investing in me, myself, my happiness, my health, my lifestyle, my habits, my desires, my values, my wants, my needs...I AM investing in ME!!!

Only Believe: This is my motto. There is power in believing. What you speak out of your mouth directly affects your heart. If you want to feel something, speak it. There is power in our tongues, our language, our words.

There is power in what you believe in. Do I believe in myself? Do I believe in a higher power, a spiritual force that can provide me with strength, mercy, grace, hope, and what I need to succeed? Yes!!!

My strength comes through my faith. My faith in Christ and the Holy Spirit. I CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens ME!!!

To Him who is ABLE to do exceedingly abundantly more than I can ask or imagine....Ephesians 3:15 This is where my strength comes from.

My strength also comes through WHO I AM. I AM valuable, an honest and caring person. I am devoted and loyal. I am a great friend and a wonderful wife. I am a mother and a daughter. I am a sister. I am a child of God.

I say all these things because there are many times that I need to repeat these things in order to believe in me and believe in who I am. I am capable and I have the ability to lead a healthy life. I can have a lifestyle that promotes health and happiness. I am a role model to my girls. I am making so many changes in my life, and I am cleaning house.

I am sweeping out the bad - which is habits and thoughts and I am disinfecting any germs that have come out of my mouth to effect my heart.
I am redecorating and putting up new decor. I am redesigning and creating a routine that will promote positive energy and healthy returns.

As seasons change...I am changing....and It is my season for change!!!!

My Goals:
My goals are to become healthier and fit. I desire to be a positive role model in my family.

I want to have the energy to spend quality time with my family and to promote an active lifestyle we can all enjoy.

My goals:

lose 10% = 25 lbs.
new weight will be 222

lose 25% = 62 lbs

I want to jog a 5K in under 45 minutes.

My Program:
I am writing down everything I eat

I am exercising

I am choosing healthier food choices

I am paying attention to carbs vs. proteins vs. fats

I am paying attention to complex carbs and not just any carbs

These are new things for me and I am doing them faithfully. My next step toward improvement is to

**increase the intensity of my work out.

Personal Information:
I live in Massachusetts with my family, husband and two step daughters.

I have tried to become fit and my weight has gone up and down over the years. I want to find balance in my quest for being fit and healthy.

Other Information:
I desire to learn spanish this year so I can communicate with the rest of my family :)

I also desire to re-start my own business and get back in touch with my passion, photography and graphic design.

I also have a desire to learn more about health and nutrition.

    emoticon We are a little over half way through Season of the Beast! If you have slacked off now is the time to push through!!! If you are still going strong be sure and stop by other Sunnies and push them to get their BEAST ON!!! It's time to buckle down the hatches and get those points and most of all get the weight going in the right direction! It's not over ladies we are still in this thing!! emoticon

    During the BLC, I work hard week-by-week to lose something mainly so I won't let my entire team down. However, during the BLC Breaks, I typically let my guard down and tend to gain weight.

    So, Here's an idea for each of us who want to get through this BLC break without a gain.


    Do you want to pledge with me to try NOT report a gain during the next 4 Wednesday weigh ins?

    How does this work? Everyone who signs up is on the list tries to maintain or lose each week.... if you report a gain one week, you get removed from the list.

    Let's see how many Foxes we can get to sign-up and how many we can have still standing at the end of four weeks! (At the end, I will send each Fox who remains on the list a box of my paintings notecards! - a $10 value.)
