It's time for change. How can I do the same things expecting different results? I have been battling with my weight what seems like forever. I think as I get older, I get less comfortable with it - also gravity has started taking over. Not to mention that I have a sometimes thyroid problem that is either over active or under. I am at my heaviest weight and it is quite depressing! I no longer have the spunk or get up and go like I used to.

Okay so I've been on SP for 1 month (consistently). I am proud to say that I have lost 5 pounds so far. I've set goals for the upcoming year and also rewards. Yay!

Okay, so after some digging I found a bunch of my workout DVDs. I haven't been getting to the gym as much since I started a 2nd job (gotta pay the bills.) So I've been doing TurboJam, TaeBo and The Firm DVDs at home in the evenings. My original plan was to wake up early in the mornings and do it before work but that hasn't happened yet. But nonetheless, I've been getting my workouts in. On the other side, I haven't been able to do strength training. It's like as soon as my muscles start burning, I want to stop. I have to figure out how to work past the pain :-(

Well I'm back on track to reach my goals. In January I found out I was expecting so the dieting went out the window. Now that my precious baby girl is 5 weeks I'm more than ready to drop this baby weight plus much more.

My Goals:
My goal is to be healthy, fit and confident. Ideally I would like to wear a size 12/14 - not really sure how much that weighs but I guess somewhere around 200 lbs. I have a certain look that I'm going for but ultimately want to be toned.

My Program:
30 minutes of cardio 6x/week

weights/interval training 2x/week

8 + glasses H2O per day

1500 calorie intake
