    Thanks for the kind words. I too thought a pound a week was doable but it isn't working that way. I can go down a pound or so and in a couple of weeks it's back. Today has been a really depressing day and I have accomplished nothing. I do watch my calories but I have cheated and I think I have to get back into more cardio besides the treadmill. I had lost 28 pounds 2 yrs ago on Medifast and then I blew it after the Holiday's with all the leftover junk and when I'm down I eat but not today....I slept instead. Tomorrow is a NEW day and I will get back on track. Yes, it would be nice to have a Spark Buddy to keep each other on track.

    I'm a 53 year old teacher. I also have arthritis. I had one hip replacement 19 months ago. Swimming is good. See if your Dr will set you up with a good physical therapist to get you started. Good luck and keep moving.
