I know that as I have gained weight, I lost some of the sassy and get up and go that I have. I want that back... When I get to the end of this journey I want it to be front page news... Extra! Extra! Read all about Brina has met and maintained her goal!

9/1/10 ....... Having a sluggish week. Haven't even blogged.

UPDATE.... 8/18/10 This month's challenge has been put off til next month.

08/2010 Goal... get so close to 299 that I can smell it. Post 1 blog a
week. ****Got close, 303*** Close but no cigar. bmi is
down to 50.5

Just learned that when I started @ 341 by bmi was 56.9. As of last
week's scale reading, it is now 51.5. May not be much... But I am counting it a victory

08/11/10 ~~ Lost 2lbs!!! Yeeeaaaaa.... Will start new challenge on
Sunday. The weekends are hardest for me for
everything. We are soooo busy. BUT no excuses, I am
going to do better.

08/04/10 ~~ The 3rd challenge was postponed until Aug 15th. I have
lost 1/2 a lb. It is not as much as I would like, but it is a
loss. Started going back and checking portion sizes this
week. Will update how it turns out.

07/26/2010 ~~ Made it through the first 2 challenge phases. Now on
to the 3rd challenge!

07/14/10 ~~ So far so good. Have not had any fried foods this week.

My husband and I have started a challenge. We are challenging our family and friemds to give up bread and fried foods for the rest of this week... Pray for me... I like bread a little 2 much! Will let you know how it turns out.

Hi All! What can I say, where to begin???
2 years ago, I had lost 85 lbs and was doing a good job in keeping it off. But then life threw me a few curve balls that I was not ready for.
You know life is a journey filled with ups & downs, highs and lows. But for me, I would like to shed some of this excess weight that I am carrying to make the journey a little easier to walk ...
