Introduction Text Mom of two wonderful boys (4 and 8) that keep me busy and on my feet. I'm trying to fit the time in for running, good nutrition and teaching my boys a healthy life style. A bit of a challenge... Our family also consist of a bullmastiff, Alex, a foster dog - Winnie, also a bullmastiff. There are also two parakeets, Spike and Chow, and some fish. We have also gotten involved with a local rescue group, so there has been a steady stream of doxies coming through our house. I'm working on maintaining my weight and continuing to make healthy choices for myself and my family. Going back to basics and leaving the too processed stuff out of the grocery cart. Trying to inspire the boys to enjoy sports and realizing that it's fun being healthy! My triathlete friend, GladGad, got me involved in a relay triathlon and I had a great time. Improving my swimming skills are on the bucket list to see if I can manage to do an actual triathlon by myself at some point. New goal for me, yay! Another goal is to complete a full marathon. It's kind of on the shelf now as I've been sidelined for part of 2011 with a knee injury and elective foot surgery, so I think maybe my marathon goal is on the bucket list for either the end of this year or next year. I'm working my way back with moderate running, boot camp and bike riding. Happy sparking to all my spark friends!

*Portion control *Water, water, water *cardio....weights? We'll see when the recovery is over *swim, swim, swim!
