Thanks for visiting my sparkpage!

I joined SparkPeople in February 2009 as a way to track my food and exercise. Little did I know what amazing friends and encouragement I would receive in the 3 years since I joined.

Since March 2009, I have completed 18 half marathons, 6 marathons, 4 10K's, and many 5K's. Even beyond that - I could not have imagined the crazy and wonderful SPARK friends that would encourage me along my journey.

I began running as the result of a dare from a friend and eventually decided to run a marathon because a family member told me I couldn't finish. And, now, I am hooked - I love the encouraging and inspiring environment that races give you and I love running! It's not really about times and pace for me - it's about the journey! Many twists and curves along the way - but what a great road so far!

- Strength train 2 or 3 days per week
- Get better at eating clean. Track my eating - no hiding from the truth!
- Be more content in the skin I am in....
