Yo-Yo'd my whole life, even in the Army.

Here are my issues I am working on:

*Half a non-working thyroid after thyroidectomy - on meds
*Type 2 Diabetes - 0n meds not insulin
*fatty liver - on meds

Since March first I have been on a health and fitness journey. I have successfully cut my diabetes meds in half, with the goal of being off them completely by fall.

I eat super healthy, and well portioned. No processed foods or sugars that aren't fruit or other natural sources.

I work out 4 to 5 time a week to include 30 minutes of cardio and weight/strength training.

I started at 233...now it is August22, and I weigh 222lbs. My body is different, my cloths fit better, I am told I look better. I feel better...but no weight loss.

My body wants to be big? Ok, screw it, let it be big..but I will be big and healthy!

My Goals:
push Diabetes and fatty liver out of my body....


My Program:
March - Clean eating and walking.

April - Started working out at gym. Light cardio and light weights, only 2 sets per exercise, getting adjusted.

May - Adjust cardio to more intense levels, picked up heavier weights, and three sets.

June - I am working on strength gains at the gym, and changed my cardio goals from just a time goal, to distance within time (4 miles in under 33 min). I have adjusted my strength training to:
Cardio/Abs Daily
Day 1 - Chest
Day 2 - Back
Day 3 - Shoulders/Arms
Day 4 - Legs
Day 5 - my choice

July - August: Increase intensity, set SMART goals and going for GAINS!!! I switch between machines, smith machines, and dumbbell training to keep the muscles on their game!! Cardio is 4 miles under 30 minutes on elliptical, except for fat blasting day (Day 6) where it turns into 6 miles)
Day 1 - Cardio/Legs/Abs
Day 2 - Cardio/Chest/Abs
Day 3 - Cardio/Back/Abs
Day 4 - Cardio/Shoulders & Traps/Abs
Day 5 - Cardio/Arms/Abs
