Living inside during COVID-19 with a lovely deck to get out on is not so bad at 77, so every day now the summer is greeted with thanksgiving for staying healthy for age, with a few infirmities that are chronic. Just do it, was an old somebody saying, think it was NIKE? BUT, got a little weight gain from not being more active, so am on it now. Actually ordered a home treadmill so I can really do the walking I was used to before, but it isn't here yet. Waiting impatiently.

Our town is rising in COVID-19 cases, and think people should take it more seriously especially when nursing homes are in epidemic now. Kind of selfish in my opinion not to wear masks for awhile at least until a real vaccine is on the cusp of being tested. That's my take on it at my age with lots of family who are essential workers out there doing their part. Praying for this to end soon is not enough for their sake. Takes active participation.

So after being off the social media track for a year decided it was time to focus on being mentally active in thought again, not that writing a novel was inactive thought, but real people alive to communicate with seemed more important now. So Fb and family only became a priority after a passing of a loved one left a big hole in the heart. But more than that, others matter in this focus. So Spark People which a few years back was a part of my life, became a new part again. Already feel the pandemic needs of others, so hello world.

Personal hopes, wishing the riots would stop, and our majority police forces who we would not be safe without, would get the credit due them.

    emoticon for leaving the comment on my blog. I will try that water and 1/2 tsp. I remember doing something like that when I was young and my stomach had trouble the old country doctor told Mom to give me this and it really worked then. I had totally forgotten it.
