I am now a 70 year old, obese, wife, mother, and grandmother, sister & aunt from Pennsylvania. I have been eating smarter. Have lost a significant amount of weight. But for the last year, sadly, not losing, in fact gained quite a bit back! So, I am committing to get back to healthier eating, moving more, and living healthier! I need motivation to exercise, make myself go out. I am striving to sleep 5 hours most nights, eat cleaner, smarter, and dump the negative mental messages. I need to avoid junk..both in my food choices and life! Avoiding Stress and anxiety is a battle. But, I CAN ~ I WILL ~ and I WON'T QUIT!

The Prisoner came to me as a kitten. He had just been neutered at a veterinary clinic, where they run a special every summer. When they do these spay/neuter clinics, they simply label the kittens, kitten #1, kitten #2, etc.

Well, I adopted two kittens who had been so labeled. The female was labeled "Kitten #2", and the male with the striped pajamas was "Kitten #6".

When I was a teenager, there was this British TV classic, called "The Prisoner", starring Patrick McGoohan. It involved "retired" spies being kept in a village, and known only by a number. The star, "The Prisoner" was "Number 6" and he always butted heads with the leader of the Village, "Number 2". My mother and I used to watch it together and to this day I have the complete set of episodes on DVD.

Turns out the little female did not have the personality to pull off being "Number 2" and she just became Patches. But The Prisoner definitely had star power, so his "Number 6" became officially, "The Prisoner".

Probably more than you wanted to know, but there you have it. emoticon
