    3 for me too! emoticon
Good Morning, day off I see. emoticon
Went out last night (didn't drink, though I should have). I chose to go back to bed after hubby left for work. Slept for 4 hours and woke up with a banger of a headache.
So, I got the hang over headache, even though I didn't drink emoticon Go figure! That's what it's like to be me emoticon
Now that I think of it, it could be a delayed reaction, regarding my recent project. I spent time the last 2 days doing the family's tax returns. Ughhhh!

So, I'm super excited emoticon the snow is almost all gone!!!! Still chilly though. But no snow is a biggie emoticon

Still have no job. I decided to go to the Unemployed Help Center.
They offered me the opportunity to to take a program called TIOW (Targeted Initiative for Older Workers). It is only available to 55+ But they are breaking the rules for my particular case.
It's a 10 week program in Customer Relations/Hospitality that involves 8 weeks computer training/upgrading. Week 9, I will get my National food safe certification, Smart Serve certification, first aid/cpr and something else. Don't remember.
Week 10, I update my WHIMIS certification and concentrate on constructing a resume. Market myself using my new skills and sharpen interview skills.
The center (my case worker) will then become my advocate in the job market.
This is a government program. Therefore, I may qualify for subsidy while training. I will find out on Thursday when I register for the program.
I'm kinda looking forward to it, but nervous at the same time. emoticon

What's keeping you busy these days (besides work)?

Till later.... emoticon 'S and emoticon

Yikes...I just sent you a goodie and just as I hit the send bar...the hydro went out (briefly). emoticon HOW RUDE!!! emoticon
But, we are powered back up and ready to chat your ear off emoticon
I think of you often, but miss our chats more. How's life? Got any romantic plans for tomorrow? emoticon
    I do! emoticon
The day will begin with Alejandro and I taking a lovely morning walk along the beach. We will be little emoticon 's as the sun rises,as it reveals the beauty of the day. Then it is off to our balcony where a scrumptious breakfast of fresh fruit, croissants and refreshing mimosas await us. emoticon
Breakfast will be followed by a paired massage and hot stone therapy. Ahhhh.
The rest of the day will be devoted to what ever our emoticon desires. Perhaps a little swim or a catamaran cruise of the ocean.
Then as the evening unfolds...we will watch the emoticon set and I'm sure there will be emoticon at some point (hehehe) emoticon
    IN MY DREAMS! emoticon
It will most likely go down like this...happy valentines day. Same to you.
DH will go to darts and I will be asleep when he returns. Ooooo how romantic is that? emoticon emoticon I think I'll hold on to my dreams. lol.

    My life (lately) in brief...
    - never got a firm grip (on my eating habits) again, since the holidays
    - my EI expired we are now a 1 income family emoticon
    - not sure if I can handle a job (physically) but I'm looking anyway. No luck so far.
    - I'm thinking of taking Dr.'s advice and apply for disability benefits.
    - I'm up in my weight again, 'bout 30 lbs. emoticon
    - I've had a pretty good week thus far, eating wise. I think I'm back on track.
    - Hubby was off work for 5 weeks recently. He had bi-lateral pneumonia. It was very scary. I thought I was going to lose him.
    - having some financial hardship right now, but, we'll make it through. We always do.
So, you see my life has been a ball of stress lately. Not to mention...IT'S STILL FLIPPIN' WINTER! emoticon Can't wait till spring emoticon

Did the DIL find employment yet? I suppose if I take a stroll over to her page, I might get that answer. emoticon

I may deserve the best...but YOU ARE THE emoticon emoticon a girl could ask for!

BTW... shall I tell the 'boys' to expect 2 guests? emoticon

    Thanks for the java, gf!
Unfortunately, the start of my day was not what I was hoping for. Hubby started with a bug of some sort on Thursday. By Saturday, he was down 100%. Sick the whole weekend. emoticon I was so hoping he would be well enough to go to work today. emoticon hence the disappointing start to my day.
So, another day of... emoticon moaning, "I need this", 'Can you get me this", "how do you do this" and more moaning. And reassuring him that he is not going to die.
I'm sure you know how it goes. Women HAVE babies and men ARE babies! emoticon

I'm so sick of winter, and shoveling snow. I think I had to shovel almost every day last week.

Anyhow...WHAZ UP GF emoticon How u doin emoticon

    Hello, hello!
SNOW, COLD...YUK!!! Same for us here. Gotten more than our usual for this early in the winter. I can't believe I am going to say this but...I have to agree it looks beautiful from the inside. Especially when, it's the feather light fluffy snow. Now that that's out of the way...how the hec are ya GF? emoticon

Well, I'm about to make your day. You know the old saying, "someone is always worse off than you are?" That would be me. Count your blessings, all 6 of them. And I will count mine.... emoticon all 20 of them! NO JOKE!
How is that even possible? STUPIDITY that's how and chocolate and cheesecake and cookies and alcohol. You get the picture. Plus the added stress of stuff going on in my oldest son's life emoticon just made me emoticon .

It's a constant battle. But, I'm with you on seeing it through. Talk big and talk loud, maybe then we will get it into our heads and emoticon
    sabotaging our efforts.

I've joined a 12 week challenge team (hence the tiger motif). They are very organized and ACCOUNTABILITY oriented. My goal is 35 lbs. over the 12 weeks. No wiggle room there. But, I have to it!
That would be great...to evolve into a new you (not that I don't luv this one). Anniversary? Huh, that sounds like some MOTIVATION. Ours is June 10th.
    33 years! Holy Moly!!!

I must go have breakfast...banana, muffet and milk emoticon I'm going to try to correspond more regularly, but keep in mind the team I joined is very 'hands on' (so to speak) but...I'll shoot for at least a weekly visit.

    emoticon and a BIG emoticon
