I traveled down this road many times since 2008. Bad me, I stopped coming by SP. I stopped tracking food. I stopped Dancing!! My music stopped in 09 and my Happy Feet stopped moving 8 hrs a week....Here I am again. In 2017 I joined WW and I lost 79 lbs in a year and a half. Then I got very Ill. I was Ill for 9 months. Then 3 doctors later in 2019 I was diagnosed with Crohn's. The last year I have been struggling with foods I can and can not eat. I have struggled with carbs being the only foods that make me feel better. I am also Diabetic so this isi not a good mix and I am now heavier than ever and A1C is back up again. So I am going to try Keto since most veggies bother me.

I want my life back!!! I want to enjoy the activities I used to do. I want my Crohn's in control and to not interfere with activities.

So I Am DONE, Done sitting still, DONE buying bigger clothes, DONE wallowing in my own pity party. I AM DONE.

My Goals:
I have no grand expectations. A simple 1.5 lbs a week is a steady learning pace. I have no 10 - 20 % goals for I know even that is to discouraging. I have a big goal of 10 lbs at a time.

My Program:
I am starting on Keto as the Doctor has suggested. The learning will be a big curve but I can figure this out.

My name is Crystol. I have 2 great children. They have grown into wonderful adults. Who would of thunk I could do such a great job!!

I have 5 absolutely beautiful granddaughters.

Other Information:
I have rescued a Chocolate Min Pin pup, Named Wing Nut or just Nutz for short which he is and a black and tan Min Pin named Pixie!! I love doing rock painting and diamond paintings.

    Pain is just exhausting to live with, it consumes to much brain space and leaves little energy for much else.. I am sorry your suffering with it my friend. I totally understand the discomfort of inflammation in intestines..
    when I came back to sparks it was to track my food, my husband kept telling me I didn't eat enough. My thoughts were If I wan't eating enough why wasn't the scale changing.. HAHA well turns out lack of activity will affect that.
    anyhoo, I tracked for a few weeks, then started researching keto figuring it would switch things up in my body and get numbers to move.
    Here the thing, the more I Research the affect of ketogentic diet, I was super exctid because I believe it is the answer I had been looking for to heal my body after the affect of cancer and treatment..
    Now, I 100% believe my body has the chance to completely heal.. Inflammation goes away quickly.. I was shocked how fast and how amazing and different my body feels and my brain.
    Your not suppose to excise for the first 6/8 week one your body is being fuel by ketone . body takes time to adapt to it true fuel source(ketone is the darn fat we have been storing but our body hasn't needed to use it because we keep eating glucose and carbs)
    simple way to see if your in ketosis is urin strips. HA I love peeing off and out my fat.. if the strip changes color, your melting fat.. it really is simple and amazing.
    it is completely different then all the programming, crazy too because the amount of carbs in a so called healthy diet still doesn't need to use the fat stored.
    Keto is High fat , health fat, like butter, cheese, bacon, meats, eggs.. High fat, moderate protein and 20 or less carbs.
    It works, you don't crave food, because FINALLY the body is getting the fat it has needed
    really been a fascinating journey.
    I am in it for the long term health, bonus is fat melting off, 26lb in 8ish weeks
    My husband joined me, he is weighing in at a weight he hasn't seen since school age, ironically we didn't even think he had that much fat he could loose
