pursuing fitness and good health.. It needs to be a life style change, not a diet.

I am a 55 year old widow and mother of 1, a son age 25. I lost my husband of 25 years to cancer in 2017 and I still a working through the grief. I can telecommute most days and I sit all day at the computer. . My goal is to get fit to help with the arthritis pain in my knee. . I want to have more energy and look better. I have lost weight in the past, but gained it again. This time I'm going to work on making permanent changes.

Fitness Minutes: 65,803

My Goals:
- To have a healthy BMI by January 2019

- To become a consistent walker. I ran a few half marathons and even a couple full marathons a few years ago, but now due to knee issue, I will need to just walk.

- To be able to wear a swim suit without embarrassment, well, without so much embarrassment.


My Program:
Cutting back on fatty foods and sweets

Control portions

Jogging 3 miles or more 4 times a week

Weight machines twice a week.
