I'm older and want to be better.


My main motivation for losing weight is to improve my present health. I want to have more mobility and more energy.

My Goals:
I want to change my present eating habits.

I want to eat healthy foods.

I want to become more able to exercise.

I want to change my behavior so that any weight loss is permanent.

My Program:
 I will keep a journal of everything I eat and of any exercise I do daily.

I will rely on measurements as well as the scale to see how I am doing.

I won't lose interest this time because I have people to rely on.

 I love to read and have many topics that I am interested in. I love a good mystery, Historical fiction (as well as fact), Biographies, etc.

I also love to garden, but have been somewhat limited since I had complete knee replacement.

I love to work with kids and especially love teens.

    Hi Patti,

    I am feeling much better. No it wasn't Covid just some virus that Wyatte had a few weeks ago. So far I have tried FatSecret.com, MyFitnessPal and MyNetDiary to log, but nothing compares to Spark. If I end up sticking with any of them, it will be FatSecret as they have a community similar to Spark. I may give Spark360 a try once it is fully functional. Right now it isn't very appealing.

    Oh yes, I will keep in touch by email. Let me know if you end up going on any other site.

    I will be here until it closes.
