Can you remember the prices of the candies Going Back In time. Time in a bottle.
Jaw breakers? Little black babies and they also had them in pipes. Were they 2 cents each?
French Fries back then when families had them wrapped in newspaper to take home?
I had school milk in a bottle. Not sure what Mom paid for it.
the ear things what were they called? Just ear muffs?
I am writing a book for my kids to leave when my time comes but I really like to use the terms they had back then. Like I wore those saddle shoes looked like cow hide.
If you can remember any terms back then. Email me a private email.
I know we used to call sofa couch back then.
I was the one that wrote Time in a bottle but now Time in A bottle is still going on.

So I read my posts and you are very close to my memories of things. I think it was you who told me the hand warmer was a Muff. Did we call it a hand warmer. I know my Mom gave me it in white and the hat white in angora. I love to go to church all dressed up in it.
What was the hat that winter hat that had a string but it also had like a wooden oval stopper that stopped so Mom could slide it up to my neck in the winter and she would not pinch my deck.. Did it have a special name?
I can remember when she started to draw it closer that wooden oval or round on some hats I had and closer. I would draw back. I never trusted it at early age of three. It looked like a round bead or oval size of a marble..
