I am a 58 year old Aboriginal mother, grandmother, sister, aunt. I am all of these and I want to remain so for a few more decades at least. I love life and always try to remain positive. I shy away from any kind of Negativity because it can make a person sick.

Fitness Minutes: 480

My Goals:
I would like to lose 80 lbs this first year. My end date would be December 31, 2015. I know I can do it as I have lost 62 lbs a couple of years ago. In the 2nd year, I would like to work on my strength and endurance.

My Program:
I have cut out all sugars, except in my coffee. I will not use salt or eat bread. Not eating bread will be hard because I love sandwiches and toast. I will be doing cardio every 2nd day with the 20 minute circuit at a local gym. I plan on taking a break every 6 days. I am not sure yet if it will be for 1 day or 2 days. We will see

I am a First Nation woman from Manitoba, Canada. I have 5 almost all adult children. The last one will be an adult in 3 months. My other 4 children are in their 30s. I have 11 grandchildren, ranging in age 2 years to 21 years. I decided to lose weight after my car quit on me 4 years ago. It was close to Christmas and I decided to wait on fixing it until after. I figured I could catch the bus to work in the meantime. Little did I know that would be the turning point in my life. It was my trek to the bus stops that made me realize how out of shape I was. It didn't actually dawn on me until a couple of days later that my health was poor. I figured if I wanted to see my grandchildren and their accomplishments then I better get on the path to a healthy lifestyle.

Here I am...today...in a much better place than I was at.
