REBOOT: I HAVE TO BE HEALTHY TO FIGHT THE REVOLUTION!
I was overweight for a long long time, like nearly 20 years. I finally had the perfect storm of stuff that lead me to getting healthy in 2008. I went from 204.6# on 1 Jan 08 to 148.8 on 2 Sept 08. I maintained for over 3 years, but stress over the last several have led me to eating a lot of feelings and internalizing some very negative messages from a very bad job situation. I maintained for over 3 years, but stress over the last several have led me to eating a lot of feelings and internalizing some very negative messages from a very bad job situation. It has taken me nearly 2 years to fight back from that internalized negativity and PTSD. Funny thing, I edited this whole thing the other night and none of the edits stuck. The long-story-short version is that I have been starting and failing to stay on track for years now, as my weight has gone up and up and up. I was having good success up until the 2016 election, and then gained nearly 30# after it. I also had a job change due to company failure, but I'm doing the same job for another company for more money. And I'm working from home. I started on 9 August and have stayed on track for nearly 2 months. I started at 201.6 and this morning (10/6/18) weighed in at 193.6. My progress is more tortoise than hare, but I'm getting there.
