I'm not new to the weight loss scene. Throughout time I have had been in the military, had relationship changes, job changes, moves across the world and back, moves across the states, children, degrees, more job changes, homes to rent or buy, etc. My weight has fluctuated right along with those life changes. It happens right? It's okay if you pack on that freshman 15 only that was on top of the baby weight. It's okay if you lose some weight and then gain it again because of baby number 2 then life happens you can’t work out, convenience food is consumed because it is easier than cooking. You know how it goes. Life!

But like many of you that are on Spark, having a healthy lifestyle is important. It has to be a priority. Not only does it benefit yourself but it benefits everyone in your life and those around you, those total strangers as well. I’m sure I’m not the only one that watches the Biggest Loser for inspiration or reads many of the blogs here on Spark for that little bit of inspiration or that tangible thing in common that helps us get through the rough times. Most importantly I’m out here to help myself see that not only can I become a healthy, well-rounded person but I’m totally worth the journey too!

I’m a determined person. I research, analyze and plan an attack but I’m also a person that struggles with self-worthiness daily. I’m a person that will let life circumstances and emotion take over that determination until it squashes me into a speck of dust and I give up. But today, I’m taking a stand against those circumstances that emotion and I’m standing up for myself. I’m becoming that determined woman that can do everything and anything that she deems to do or be. My journey may not be perfect but it is a journey that I will be proud of and if by chance my journey helps you along the way than I have succeeded even more. Because we are totally worth every step in this journey of becoming a healthy individual!

I had the boys help with a list yesterday and today (part of their punishment for taking a kitchen knife to my curtain) and a lot is getting done! I completely went through my bedroom and closet yesterday and thew away SO much stuff, dusted and reorganized it too! It looks great! Not that is was bad before but still needed to be done!

I would love to come back to OKC and run again!! Maybe I can talk Mike into going next yr!
I think he would love it there!!

SO excited to hear from you!! And super excited about Made to Crave...I did the same and thought a team would be great. I too led a group at church which was sooo not in my comfort zone...and it was such an amazing and blessed experience. The principles and truths in her message continue to set the tone for me different. I don't have access to a home computer right now...ours is kaput hoping to replace or repair soon with tax refund. I am considering two half Mary's coming up...was set and training for the okc full. But I lost four weeks of training I was sick ALL of Feb. it was a total loss and I am still coming to terms with not making my dream come true...but I would only be setting myself up for failure to attempt it at this smart and hard is imperative for me and I lost too much time...I am very confident at the half though...I know and actually love the distance so I am thinking A2A and OKC. I'm finally back at it and feeling pretty good so I think I can do it. Whew rambling let me know your thoughts and what is up with you...I pray for your friend a friend of mine had a mastectomy Wednesday and is preparing for chemo/ rad. SIL got an all clear after her last visit she is two years out ...God is so good. Talk to you soon! emoticon

Oh I know you're right!! I'm just so tired of seeing the same number! REALLY?? Just MOVE! Down preferably! LOL

I am gaining muscle, for sure. I'm getting stronger. My body is changing.
I moved up from using 5# weights to 10's and 12's. I do slow, but real push ups and no knee planks for me!

I know I'm building muscle. :) And the muscle weighs more than fat! I know.

I'm feeling panicked cuz I want to lose 7-10 more pounds. I want to be lighter so I can run faster, when i KNOW in my head.... if I'm stronger I will run fast!

Oh somebody just smack me!! :)

Thank you for the pep talk! I needed that!
