Hi I'm Shannon! I had a reality check two Christmas's ago when I hit 184 on the scale--70 lbs gain since high school. I immediately set a New Year's resolution to lose weight. I lost 20 lbs in 4 months and then hit a wall. I have been stagnant for almost a year & a half. One day when I was surfing the net, I came across Spark People. My Goals:
I want to be at my goal weight by New Year's Eve. I plan to do this by focusing on 10% at a time.

My Program:
 I'm using the meal plan & fitness programs from SP. I really want to become a runner--so I'm going to build up my endurance one step at a time.


Personal Information:
I live just 8 miles south of Canada--so I travel internationally almost every day--I even have to have a passport to go to church...

Other Information:
 I am a voracious reader...I read almost 2000 pages a week.
