    I am glad you added me as a friend, as I did you. I would like to see your progress as you work to rid yourself of diabetes 2 and get to a good place to have your injury's fixed, so you can return to a great and optimistic life!

    I don't know what you are doing to help weight loss. But try cutting out these foods. Sugar, all things white, red meats if you love these, then watch quantity and make sure are lean. All processed foods (this one is hard, because pretty much everything is) Eat plenty of salads (Summer) and soups (Winter)


    No Saturated fat, in my fats I have switched to coconut oil, you still need juice in the joints. I eat no breads or pasta. Margarine is not allowed in my house. The only dairy I have is butter, otherwise I eat no dairy. I limit my eggs to 3 a week because of cholesterol. I eat chicken and fish 3/4 times
    a week. I am an avid label reader. I watch for everything harmful to me.
    So yes you guessed it, most of my food is Vegetables and fruits. I eat legumes, lentils, nuts, seeds. And I have a green drink once a day.

    I have given up a lot, but I have gained my health back and I am enjoying my new life and second chance.

    In another 3 months, I am hoping my numbers are closer to or are normal.
    Nobody has to live with diabetes and all it's complications! I am showing that it can be done.
