Introduction Text I'll turn 53 in Jan. and have decided it is now time to take back control of my body and my life. I have had some health problems, and i think now its time to get healthy. My goal is to get myself off disability and i will do so by attaining several baby steps. Slowly but surely i will continue towards my goal. As it is, i'm already better off than i was 10 years ago.

i would like to lose it all overnite.....just kidding. join the Y so that i can continue with the exercises that i've gotten in therapy for my legs. Also to use the pool so that i will be able to do water exercises.(i even bought a swim suit, and i got a pedometer)

i have no kids of my own but my sister graciously shared her 4 with me. now she is the proud gramma to 2 beautiful little girls, and i get to be gamma. i've already managed to meet one of my life goals, i've lived long enough to see my oldest niece have kids just like her, and i'm enjoying every minute of it.

i live in north central iowa, never a dull moment.......oh wait that only applies to the weather.
