    If this is a repeat, please forgive me. I don't think I welcomed you to Living Binge Free, which you joined (or got signed up for?) awhile ago. I hope it's okay if I use a little blurb I post on profile pages.

    We encourage members to concentrate more on how to live peacefully pleasurably WITH reasonable amounts of food, rather than on how to win a weight loss war. This is not to say it always feels peaceful and pleasurable as we learn to deal with strong desires to eat, but no one is ever sorry she tolerated the difficulty instead of bingeing. But we're also aware that it is typical for people to slip multiple times before they get much better at it. In fact, you can actually BE getting better at it even when you fail. Honestly, only a few of our threads are active, but we do have one that has been active for over six years! Please come get support in getting off a "diet" and figuring out and living a lifestyle. The disorder habit is strong, but it can be overcome. People just often misinterpret what is going on and give up too soon. Let us hold your hand along the way!
