I had hip replacement surgery on May 28, 2013. It is more important now than ever that I get the weight off and this time keep it off. I'm tired of my life time of roller coaster weights....let me off at a normal BMI of 173 please.
2/6/15: Officially in maintenance. Final goal of 175!
6/13/15: Recovering at home from second THR.
5/27/17: Here I go again! I let the stress of another school year get to me. Back over 200. :( Time to take charge!
2/18/18: Having my second radio frequency ablation back procedure to help with lower back pain.
2/18/19: time for my annual back ablation procedure. Bring on the relief.
2/17/2020: back ablation again, left side today and right on March 16. Now neck issues. Does arthritis ever take a break?

My Goals:
Start: 5/29/09 at 227
restart: 2/14/2021 at 215
To reach and maintain a healthy BMI weight at 175.

My Program:
track and stay in calorie range

Cardio and weights most days

Personal Information:
Mom to two daughters, 30 and 29 and grandma to a 11 year old, 2 year old and a 8 month old. Being grandma is so much fun!!
Over 45 years later, I recently reconnected with my first kiss boyfriend. Now he will also be my last kiss because we are engaged. Life is good!
After 22 years of teaching, I am going to retire early. The emotions, physical and time demands are not manageable. Things have got to change or we will continue to lose great teachers. So sad.

I am 5'10" so that helps to spread it out!!!

I teach elementary students with special needs. It is challenging but rewarding. The 10-12 hour school days wear on me. I use that as an excuse to not go to the gym and go through the drive thru instead of cooking and eating right. I am retiring in June so will have time to focus on ME!!

Other Information:
I have had both hips replaced due to AVN and arthritis. Lower lumbar and neck arthritis are my latest challenges.

Are you interested in a Challenge?

The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Winter challenge will be getting started the beginning of December. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meat your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Fall we had a World Series and a Haunted House. If you decide this might be for you you can leave your name on the waitlist for the Winter challenge. To get to the Challenge go to my page and click on the Blue Biggest Loser Icon or let me know and I can send you an invite. Then sign up on the waitlist.
