I successfully lost about 25 pounds about five ago. I've put about 15 pounds back on over the last couple of years. Really, what I want to do is release my food obssession, find joy in eating, and eat healthfully in the appropriate amounts. I am a teacher and occasional motivational speaker and I believe we have everything we need inside of us to find happiness and peace in every moment. For me, food is the last frontier...I want to be a role model for my audiences and for my two daughters through what I say and how I look.

My Goals:
I will fit into my "skinny clothes" again easily by Christmas 2011.

I will lose somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 pounds, and get strong and lean. I will do this healthfully and slowly (a pound or two a week), knowing this is a lifestyle change I am making, not a diet I am on.

My Program:
I will keep within the WW Points Plus program

I will take at least 10,000 steps a day.

I will get cardio activity for at least half and hour, three times a week.

I will do Pilates, weight training or core strengthening activities at least three times a week.

I will blog five times a week about my lifestyle journey.

Personal Information:
I currently live in Hong Kong with my husband and two daughters. I am a teacher and writer and aspire to be a full time motivational speaker (though I do that in class every day and love it there, too!) and even have my own television show, sort of an Oprah/Ellen combo. I'd also love to do the "Tony Robbins thing," especially working with teenage audiences. I love my life, my family, and the incredible journey I've found myself on. i want to share it so I can motivate myself and others!
