Hi Hattie! All is well on my end. Just got back from a mini vacation. Luckily, we stayed in a cabin with a kitchen, thus only ate out once a day. Usually, we would eat out and go wild with food and drink on trips! How are you?

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Kale is great for juicing. I like it in soups also. Other recipes I haven't found that I like yet but still try.
I'm with you on spinach in my smoothie. I love that.

Hey there! I have to say I have found all the research slightly confusing. Mostly because there isn't really a definitive answer. The suggestions came down to a Paleo diet and a Mediterranean Diet. What is confusing to me is that a Paleo diet cuts out all grains, and has a lot of meat consumption and the Mediterranean diet is about more whole grains, more fish and not so much on the meat. I do not eat any seafood so that isn't going to work for me.

From all the research I've done it sounds like at the very least brown rice is not really known to cause inflammation. But in my reading it said that eggs, dairy, and grains could be a cause of inflammation. The best advice that they seemed to give is to do an elimination diet, where you cut out these things for 3-4 weeks and then add them back in one at a time and check your symptoms. I am a little overwhelmed by this idea because it is going to take a long time and be time consuming, but I am thinking I owe it to myself and my knee, so I am going to try to get this all figured out lol :)
