It's been 7 months since the start of Covid-19, and we still have to be careful and social distance. So many changes that have enabled me to gain weight easily instead of losing...NOT GOOD! No more gym, getting out to stores, visiting friends, and my husband was laid off from work. Luckily my bright spot is babysitting our grandson who was born in March, and I'm loving every minute of it! He's almost 7 months old and keeping me moving, so I get my steps in and more! I just turned 60, so I want to stay active for him. We're trying to get through the holidays as normal as possible! Let's have some fun and lose some weight!! Stay healthy everyone!! Up or down my dear you know it doesn't really matter. What matters is we are both still here and we are both still chugging along right? Kisses to your baby!

I love the Golden Arches. I love fast food too much. Maybe we should call it fat food.

I'm glad you were able to help your mom out. Appliances don't last as long as they use to.

I had this internal discussion with myself about eating a 100 calorie Kind bar this afternoon. "Was I really hungry or was I eating because I was bored or tired?" I wasn't really hungry, but ate the Kind bar anyways. Less than a half hour later, a co-worker comes in with a bag of fun size candy bars (an afternoon pick me up). I brought the peanut butter cup home for after dinner. I get home and there's a plate of oatmeal toffee crunch cookies on the counter. "Where did these come from?" Paul mowed our neighbors yard and she paid him with cookies. Only he doesn't like toffee which I love.

Help me! I live in the land of sweets and honey. emoticon

Trying to focus on the positives while I'm struggling with wild eating. I want to give up my sit 'n eat evening habit, but it so hard to change something that we've done for years.

I'm making grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for dinner. What's on your menu?

I'm on my way to the threads to see your beautiful home! emoticon

It's good not to be alone, but let's see what we can salvage. It's better to stop now rather than gain back pounds and have to lose them all over again.

emoticon Are you with me? Can we do it? Yes, we can. emoticon

I just ordered a new exercise DVD and a new band for my Fitbit (because we all know that buying "things" will get us back on track).
