Last year I joined SP and lost about 20 lbs. I ended up with a stress fracture in my leg though and after being told I would be on crutches for months I fell of the wagon. I have gained back all the weight I lost but am ready to get back on the horse (or wagon... whatever). I still have issues with my leg so running is sadly out of the picture (was one of my favorite exercises) and I still have some pain if I over do the walking or stand on concrete all day. One my biggest motivators is that I hope if I loose my excess weight and keep it off some of my leg and back pain will go away for good. Not a cute little black dress but I am a bit of a tomboy so I guess lack of pain is a better motivator for me.

Fitness Minutes: 2,304

My Goals:
I want to keep making healthy diet and exercise decisions for a year. If I lose 90 lbs great. If I loose 10, still great. I know that for a diet to work you have to be able to live with it so I am focusing on healthy changes I can live with over the next year.

Also, I want to feel better in my body. I have horrible self image and wish I could just see myself as my husband does for one minute. I know loosing the weight might not affect how I see myself, hence this being a seperate goal. I really want to spend this year getting better inside and out.


My Program:
Hmm, I guess I don't have a program. I just eat healthy meals that fit in my tracker and workout a few times a week at least. Oh and I walk everywhere. Litterally everywhere. If it is less than 5 miles round trip (which everything is since I live in the city) I walk there. It isn't as rewarding as running but I realize that slow and steady does have its advantages now.



Personal Information:
I am 20 years old and recently married. Does 6 months still count as recently? Well anyway, I make jewelry for a living and my husband is an accountant. Thrilling huh? He also plays guitar so the coolness factor balances that out imo. We live in CO but are considering moving to TX next year.
