Jan 2009: I've been working on changing my habits and focusing on weight loss for a year: lots of good changes, not enough actual loss so far

Update 4/28: I've lost 20 pounds!

Update 10/30 : 40 pounds gone

Update 2/7/10: 50 pounds down! (46 since joining here)

6/27/10: 60 now

1/10/11: Last six months have been a struggle-- I've maintained the 60 pounds, tho. Given everything I've been dealing with, I'm very happy to be still more-or-less on track through it all. I do need to update photos tho-- my face looks very different now!

12/30/11: After regaining almost 20 pounds, mostly triggered by a big move and new jobs in our new city in August, I am settling in and getting back on track.

5/22/13: Still 20 pounds up, and recently added some more. I have not reverted entirely to old ways, but obviously too much sloppiness. Signed up for a challenge to help me focus on this all summer.

1/6/2015: Several injuries in 2014 sidelined me, and my scale says I am right back where I started, although I don't feel, look, or move like I did back then.

My Goals:
1. Log everything--food and exercise, on spark.

2. Eat within my calorie range at least six days/week.

3. Exercise regularly and work on increasing intensity and time

Specific goals by week 12
... be able to walk a 10K again using 12 pound weights for some exercises able to resume normal back and full core exercises

Some desired results by week 12
...Lose weight
-- Be able to wear my 14Ws and 16 pants that I bought right before the move two years ago.

My Program:
Weeks 1-4
Weekly goal: 250 min
ST-- 2x/week
PT for lower back

Weeks 5-8
Weekly goal: 275 min
Start training for 10K
Continue PT

Weeks 9-12
Weekly goal: 300 min
ST- 2-3x/week
Reach 10K
