I'm starting the 100 Kettle Bell Swing Challenge tomorrow. I'm finally feeling like I could get started... slowly though this time. I went way to hard for my first workout and just about did me in! So I'm starting over and going to really listen to my body this time.

Vicki, you might try eating a big baked sweet potato with a bit of sour cream or cottage cheese after those long runs.....YUM YUM! Sweet potatoes are a very nice carb refuelling food, and I think adding a bit of protein is also a good idea. 3088 days ago

Hey Vicki, I'm glad you liked that article I posted and Neghar's workout! She's pretty fantastic, and is another one of those Girls Gone Strong superwomen. 3092 days ago

Thanks. I guess I do need some downtime! I very, very, very rarely cry. I think that I read someplace women (this is in general, of course) cry 8 times a month. I don't cry 8 times a YEAR. When I lose somebody, that's different but to just boohoo? I prefer complaining. Keeps me from getting a headache :)
I only cried for a bit, not an ugly one but I couldn't help it, so I guess that it needed to come out. Definitely exercise (my drug) helps with that stuff. Not being able to exercise set me back on that front, too. I've feeling better, so this too shall pass. 3099 days ago
