    Hi Jeanette! Let me first say thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment! :) Secondly, you've got a couple of cutie pies....too sweet!

    To answer your question, Jillian's book I was referring to is "Winning by Losing" . It's her first one. She has a second one out now, but it's geared more towards someone looking to lost 10-20 pounds and is a lot more restricted. I guess the things I liked most about it were:
    It's not condescending and doesn't make you feel bad about being overweight;
    It's easy to understand and puts things in perspective;
    There is a lot of self analyzing available via her questionnaires that really opened my eyes as to why I was doing what I was doing;
    Her own personal story is motivating;
    And, ultimately it seemed a lot like Spark: There's a lot of information and it's up to you to do with it as you will. You find your own path to a healthy life without someone telling you "THIS IS HOW IT IS"...which in the world of quick self help books, supplement advertisers, and other schemes, it was a breath of fresh air.

    She has useful information on how to determine your body type (if that interests you) and based on that information, she guides you through how you should breakdown your calories. Plus, she's got information on how to figure your target heart range so you can make sure you're really working out as hard as you should. In addition to that, she's got printed exercise demos and some pretty tasty recipes.

    It's a quick read too, so you don't feel like you have to spend weeks reading--you can get started right away.

    Plus, I love her attitude. If you watch the Biggest Loser at all, Jillian is no-holds barred, but she's compassionate and understanding. I immediately felt that same connection when reading her book--it was a lot more than just words on a page.

    I hope you find the same inspiration I did. If not, just keep looking because your key is out there too. If I can help with anything else, please feel free to ask.
