This song is my theme song in getting back on track physically, emotionally, and even spiritually. I have had lots of ups and downs the last few years, but I keep plugging along!

Fitness Minutes: 33,592

My Goals:
Short-term goal: finish half marathon running program (Red Rock App)--last year completed Week 8/12; doing better this year--on Week 11/12.
Long-term goal: Hike my 3rd 14er (14,000 ft. mountain) in Summer 2019!

My Program:
Running on the treadmill (turtle pace), Weight Training & Pilates; SparkPeople for tracking, motivation, and support.

Personal Information:
Introvert Christian retired homeschool mom of 3 (one in high school, 2 in college, now part-time substitute teacher); wife for 26 years.

Other Information:
I'm 5'7" on a good day, 5'6.75" the others! I'm 47 years old. I think it's important for people to know those two details because those weight loss trackers can give us false expectations. I've often wondered why I can't fit in a certain size of clothing or run as fast a speed as someone the same weight, but we all have different body types and age plays a big factor. But we're all in this marathon together, so let's get to it!

    It’s cold outside, but Spring is coming! Are you ready to join a Challenge? The Biggest Loser Challenge is looking for members for it’s next Challenge starting the first week of March. The challenge consists of 11 Teams, that participate in 10 weeks of Nutritional and Fitness Challenges. These challenges can be modified to fit individual needs, allowing members of all abilities and dietary needs to participate.
