Introduction Text Hi, I have three children. Two are full grown and a nineteen year old still at home. I have a 3 year old grandson that is amazing and full of energy and fun. I found SP surfing the web looking for a calorie counter! I found so much more instead. There is so much help here and everyone shares a common goal. Lose weight,exersise and get healthy. It sure has been a lifelong struggle for me to do this. Spark is a great tool ! I have not reached my goal yet but with the support of my Sparkbuddies,and all my new found friends, I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

My first goal is to get out my pedometer and get moving. Want to reach 10000 steps. I realize that eating healthy is not enough. The answer has to be both. Eat and Move. I truly believe if I do this steadfastly I will attain weight loss success.

I login everyday on spark. I have some great supportive buddies on spark and also I like to navigate the blogs for inspiration and send comments .I want to help others. A little encouragement especially from total strangers has a profound effect. I am following the spark plan counting calories.

I live in Southern New England in the state of Ma along the ocean. We have the 4 seasons and long winters lately. They get me down.I love playing with my 3 year old grandson. I love to read,write, love walking,cooking . I especially love people,what they have to say and am amazed at the depth of emotion that is in some of the blogs I have read. As I read I see myself in everyone. We are all one and the same. Spark is an amazing community.
