And now, on to maintenance!!!
6/25/2013 - I've managed to maintain for ONE YEAR!!! I've bounced around, but never gone more than 4 pounds above my goal. I'm loving my fitbit, which helps me make sure I'm active enough, and I feel pretty great. Many thanks to sparkpeople and my sparkfriends - I've never stayed at a goal weight this long before!

3/19/2013 - I am not terribly awesome at maintaining it seems... The good news, is I'm NOT letting myself get too high, but I keep ditching the tracking and then gaining little bits. Then I track again, and lose it. I guess this is sort of maintaining, with a 5 pound bounce in there... :) I think the lesson I'm learning is that if I don't track, I don't stay at my fighting weight. So... I'm going to commit to tracking for a while again, and then see if I can maintain with tracking just a few times a week. I don't know why I hate to track! In happy news, I'm an exercise junkie now, so even when I'm 5 pounds up, I'm a tighter and leaner girl. :)
7/25/2012 - After almost exactly 7 months on SP, I reached my goal weight of 125. I'm feeling great, but now I'm waiting to see if I keep losing weight or if I stick here. I'm not upping my calories to a maintenance level because I want to make sure I don't bounce back up!
My original intro (12/27/2011) - I'm a college professor, mom of two and wife to one. I gained a lot of weight after my first kiddo, I was pretty unhealthy, and I worked hard with exercise and diet to get back to health.
I got all the way down to 115, and I felt great! However, that weight is perhaps a bit too low for me, as it was hard to maintain. I watched as the weight slowly crept back. I got here to SP before I was anywhere near my heaviest, but I do have a good bit of work to do. I'm aiming to get to 125, and stay there this time! I want to get back to feeling my best, by returning to a healthier weight.

Is school over for you yet? I have 10 days left with my seniors, which is great because they are soooo over being in school, and 6 days beyond that with the rest of the kids. I'm looking forward to sleeping past 5 AM.
