I'm not hiding who I was anymore. This is what I looked like & how big I'd gotten.

Take a deep breath, and just start 'walking' through your programme to the letter. One step at a time. Trust yourself and the process. You can do it. And be careful, it is when you start feeling great that you take chances.
It is normal to have doubts but if they remain for more than 3 days, talk to your RNY shrink. (That is what mine said)
Take your anti inflammatory suppositories religiously.
You will start dropping the weight soon, but with the healing you will have a lot of water weight for a while. You are losing fat, and when the water is gone, your weight will go into free fall mode. That is when you get really happy about the op.
Everyday I had a big slow walk, I could feel and see my wounds healing. The day after is a better day.
    Hang in there

Thank you for the encouraging comment on my blog.
I have replaced food and the feel better factor from that with exercise. It is part of my strategy.

Thank you for your kind comment on my blog.
I am back and I have a pouch! And I just love her.
The first three days were a bit hairy, but after every walk, I just felt better.
I am wishing you the best of luck on your pre op diet.
My RD told me to make batches of soup with protein, no starch and a lot of beets and carrots. Beets and carrots are great for the liver.
    You can do it!

Hi there! I wanted to thank you for stopping by my blogs! I haven't been as active on Spark lately and was struggling for a bit until the morning sickness started to recede, and it's great to be getting some normalcy back! It is a big reward to be expecting, as I'm sure you can understand from what you said about trying for a while -- my husband and I were first prevented from trying because of some road blocks life threw in our path, and then once we recovered and did start trying, it took us longer than I ever would have expected. It is a tough road, but they payoff is great! I commend you for all your efforts to get healthy, and keep up your positive thoughts -- you are doing great!!
