My Program:
FOOD - This is pretty straightforward: I'm staying between 1200 and 1500 calories, I eat at least 3 times per day, and I stay away from extra sugar. I quit diet Coke (my favorite drink) altogether.

CARDIO - 3 weeks of whatever strikes my fancy at the gym. Right now, it's the incline treadmill. After 3 weeks of the treadmill, I'll move on to something else -- maybe the elliptical. I'm trying to prevent my body from getting lulled into boredom!

STRENGTH TRAINING - Using SparkPeople's recommended program for this right now.

My favorite book is 'Speaker for the Dead' by Orson Scott Card. In fact, he's my favorite author; I've read nearly all his books.

My favorite movie is 'Perfume: Story of a Murderer'.

My favorite musical artists are John Mayer and the Goo Goo Dolls. Mayer's 'Stop This Train' is my favorite song.

My favorite TV show is 'Breaking Bad'.

My favorite video game is 'Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion'.

My favorite outdoor activities are bouldering, night hiking, and bike riding.

My biggest passions are colonial US history and ancient Egyptian history (particularly the Armana period and most of the 18th dynasty).
