I'm almost right back where I started 3 years ago....

We've all probably been there. I've been there more times than I care to admit! In June 2014, I joined Weight Watchers and lost about 20 pounds in the first year. Over the next year, I stayed steady, not losing, but not really gaining. This past year has been tough. My daughter moved to Washington DC for grad school. Things at my job got tougher. And then my dad died in September. We bought a new house in January and have been moving and getting the old house ready to sell. It spiraled downward from there.

I started skipping WW meetings. I started eating junk. I stopped exercising, including meeting my Fitbit goals. I rationalized that I needed a break. I needed to focus on other things. And 10 pounds crept back on.

I am officially on summer break from teaching and I'm going to return to exercising and attending Weight Watchers meetings!

I CAN DO THIS!!!

My Goals:
First Goal: "Onederland"

Ultimate Goal: 150 pounds


My Program:
I'm aiming for 10000+ pedometer steps a day and at least 20 minutes of formal fitness each day

I'm working on portion control and eliminating pop (I did it before and I can do it again!).

I will also work on reading the health books I've purchased. Maybe I can actually LEARN something that will help me lose weight!?!

    School is out ; what a great feeling that must be! I hope you have a wonderful summer. Get out and have fun at the pool or park for some added exercise, You are doing a great job with the program. Keep going and doing the good things. See you tomorrow for the weigh-in.     Michele - thank you for the comment! You are right about the working out, and I think I am much better now. It was a "funk" that I fell in, but I am doing much better! I am so glad that I was able to participate in this challenge, I have "met" so many wonderful people here! You keep up the good work too, we will both succeed!!!
