Here We Go Again!
9/28/18-I’m starting everything fresh. I know what works but need to do it. Track, exercise, devotions, network on the site. Here’s to a new Spark Story.

10/7/17- Recovery- after the loss of my faithful, furry friend, Kohl in early August, I am several pounds heavier. Kohl was my walking buddy and we logged several miles a day. Today I will start logging those miles on my own.
6/30/17 - Gearing up for the Summer 5% Challenge
4/1/17 - Ready to start the Spring 5% Challenge
After sruggling with heel spurs at the end of the last challenge, I am ready to ramp it up again. Discipline is the key for me.
Daily/Weekly Goals: Devotional Time daily, Exercise minutes- at least 120 2x per week, 60 4x per week, 20 1x, LTGL participation daily, 1 on 1 activity with one child daily.
9/23/15- Finally in a settled place and ready to work it off (again). So unhappy with the shape I see in the mirror. Looking forward to this fall challenge for motivation and accountability.
Daily/Weekly Goals: Devotional Time daily, Exercise minutes- at least 120 3x per week, 60 3x per week, 20 1x, LTGL participation daily, 1 on 1 activity with one child daily.
9/16/14 That's my goal for the next 8 weeks. After a summer of traveling the pounds keep coming back. The brakes have been applied. Turning around and heading the RIGHT direction. Looking forward to the challenges and accountability.
3/22/12 I've made some progress. Came really close to the 50lb. loss mark but with some emotional/stress eating I'm back to 45 lbs. lost. I know that when I am active on Spark it makes a difference, so here I am.
8/29/11
It's time. I've been maintaining in the same weight range for almost a year. I'm ready for the next 40 pounds. Training for and running the 5K helped me get back down to my lowest weight. I'm ready to break through that barrier and onto my goal. Discipline and how I handle stress are my main triggers. I've identified what needs to happen, how I'm going to do it, and why it needs to happen now. Here I go . . . feel free to hold me accountable and ask how I'm doing.
2/3/11
Back to work! Got lazy about tracking. Got busy eating. Needless to say, I'm not happy with me. But I can change it, with God's help. Done it before and can do it again. Fortunately I'm not starting again from scratch. I gained six pounds back but it feels like a lot more. I'm going to start a C25K program with my son to help get kickstarted.
8/5/10
I'm doing it very slowly but I'm still headed in the right direction. . .down.
Today I am down 20 lbs since I started Spark again in Feb. Down 33 lbs from my highest weight 227 last summer.
The best thing is that I'm already able to play more actively with my kids.
Thanks for all the support LIL Mommies!
I've been a member of Spark People for almost two years but have pretty much stayed the same. I get started but fall off pretty quickly. I think this is my fifth start. This time I'm working with my friend and my husband so with this support and "positive peer pressure" I hope to get it done.
3/13/10
I read my intro again. I think that was last year :(
This time I've made sure I'm going to stick with it. I've been using the trackers for the last three weeks. I'm exploring more of Spark People and am looking for a Team that "fits".
6/1/10 Well it's been three months and I'm still here, Yeah. The pounds are coming off slowly but I'm almost happier with that cause I think they'll stay off that way. I'm starting to focus more on exercise.
