Hey there, I just wanted to stop by and invite you to join my brand new SparkTeam. It is called No Topic Off Limits and I plan for it to be a very active and diverse group to not only talk about weight loss but ANYTHING else under the sun. It would be great to have you there! Just copy and paste the link if you are interested. If not at least check it out before you turn me down ;)

aw thanks! I'm glad I can be an inspiration! It's been really tough, but definately worth it. My best advice is to be conscious about what your eating and measure EVERYTHING. I was amazed when I started paying attention at how much I would over-eat, and I was only a little bit overweight. and I always made sure to include foods I just can't live without (ice cream!) haha. Good luck with your goals, and let me know how it goes!

    Hello and welcome to Sparkpeople.com,

I'm pretty new at this myself, but wanted to let you know that it's o.k. to just jump right in and play, i.e. "click. click. click". It's how I have been learning my way around. So far I have encountered only splendid, encouraging and helpful people. I hope you try isometric exercise, it's perfect for adults with mobility issues, chronic pain, have been sedentary for a while, or who tire easily. Yet even if you're at the top of your game, isometrics can give you the added edge towards meeting your goals, even if that is finishing a triathlon! emoticon
You can find it on my page, just click the "Isometrics For The Rest of Us" icon. Stop by and say hello. It's Spark Time!
