    GOAL # 1. As soon as I rise I will have a glass of water, and say a short prayer for strength, guidance, and enthusiasm!!

    GOAL # 2. Have a healthy breakfast, of a protein, a fruit, and a whole grain. This will consist of 300 to 400 calories.

    GOAL # 3. Start off with at least 15 minutes of exercise, (of your choice). Dancing, walking, treadmill, etc. Be creative! Find something you enjoy and will stick to. Each week we will ad some more time, and after two weeks we will ad another form of exercise! My idea is to gradual get us into the habit!!!!

    GOAL # 4. Plan small snacks in between meals. Yes, I know we were always taught not to eat between meals...IT does work! The idea is to keep us from getting hungry, so we eat fruit, veggies and some protein, like a string cheese, to keep the HUNGRIES at bay!! Have a glass of water along with that. We are aiming for 8 glasses a day!

    GOAL # 5. Do NOT skip meals! You need food to have the fuel to burn, so you will not be so low energy that you aren't motivated! I even take vitamins. (Optional).

    GOAL # 6. Visit with a Buddie who is on this challenge, every day. Be accountable to one another...be supportive, and give GOODIES for a job well done!!

    GOAL # 7. Keep a food journal, track your food. I suggest even jotting down your activity, what you did and for how long, so we can keep track as we increase! I use LIVESTRONG.COM. I just like the way it works,it is simple and fast. I don't have too much time, so I do it at the end of the day.

    GOAL # 8. Be committed, self talk, and pray to build yourself up! Let's keep it fun, charged, and positive!! We can help each other to stay pumped, tho each one must DO THE PROGRAM individually to make it work!!

    Here are the 8 Steps we do! I hope they help you as much as they do me!! It becomes a way of life after a while!!
