Hey, my name is Melissa (aka meli)! Welcome to my page! I'm brand new to Sparkpeople (heard of it from peertrainer..which i am still on and its an awesome site by the way!). I'm excited to meet everyone. Earlier this year in january, I was at my heaviest (167 lbs to be exact!!!) Since then, i started working out and eating A LOT healthier, and have lost 5 lbs per month in the past 5 months!! Totalling out to me losing 21 lbs!! My goal weight is 130. I'm 145 right i'm almost there! Just need more support to get there. I KNOW i can do it. It's all in the mind....... and i will/am willing to do WHATEVER it takes!

I am now in the best shape of my life!! It has been 3 years since my last update...3 years ago I lost the remaining 21 lbs and met my goal weight! Last year during the holidays I gained about 12 lbs of it back, so I started working out slowly, and eating better and then in May of this year I decided to challenge myself and start p90x!! After the first round I had lost the 12 lbs but was lacking muscle so i'm doing it again! This week I'll be done with p90x round 2 and i'm planning on restarting next week--round 3! LOVE LOVE LOVE p90x! PROUD TO SAY i'm a p90xer!!!!! It really helps u get into the BEST shape of your life! I love eating healthy and working out-makes me feel like i'm on top of the world!!!!!

    EOWYN2424-i focused on eating clean/non-processed foods, & portion control/eat 6 small meals a day. I got most of my tips from p90x's nutrition guide/tosca reno's book called "The eat clean diet Recharged" (sold on amazon). Hope that helps-feel free to ask any other questions. :) side note-are you on facebook? emoticon
