Hi, my name is Dulci. I am a happily married mom of two girls who has always been concerned about being healthy. After my second child was born my weight creeped up to 163 which was very uncomfortable for me, so at the time I joined WW and was very successful. I had gotten to 138 in about 6 months, which was even more than I had expected to lose. Once I hit Lifetime with WW I started to struggle. The thrill of losing was gone and I just kind of lost my motivation. Within the next year about about 16 of those lost pounds crept back on and this time around I found it much harder to stick to the program and get them back off. Then a couple of years ago I found SparkPeople. Suddenly I was excited to try again. It took me about a year to truly take advantage of everything that Spark has to offer and I've really seen some progress since finding the BLC challenge and being part of the Forest Green Pixie team.

What is in store: Another round of BLC is about to start and I still have some weight to lose, but more importantly, I really want to make some changes. I don't want to feel like I am standing still in my own life anymore. I am going to try new things including new forms of exercise and I'm going to try to slowly learn to cook. I am going to make new friends, both within SparkPeople and in my real life.

Update: December 2012 - I have tried some new things with exercise this past year. I have tried and enjoyed Zumba, I have an exercise app on my phone called Nike Training Club, that I LOVE, and I ran my very first 5K on Dec. 2, 2012 (with my 10 year old daughter). I didn't really try to learn to cook - maybe that will come this year. I'm very fortunate to have a husband who cooks. I also decided to give Spark Coach a try, to see if it will give me the motivation and consistancy to kick off these last few pounds.

My Goals:
Here are my S.M.A.R.T. goals for 2013:

1. to be at my goal weight of 135 by April 10.
(to do this I need to lose an average of .6 each week)

2. Develop a new workout plan monthly.
January - January Jumpstart

3. Run at least 2 5Ks.
(will start training in February)

4. Read the whole Bible in 1 year
(Follow daily Bible reading plan)

My Program:
Currently doing the January Jumpstart here on SP

Track my food and eat lots of freggies.

Personal Information:
I am a 44 year old mother of 2 girls and happily married.
I work as a human services coordinator at a facility for developmentally disabled residents and I am a Mary Kay consultant on the side.

Other Information:
I love reading fantasy, horror and thriller novels.

I have one daughter who is an avid soccer player and another daughter who likes gymnastics.

My current favorite TV show is Once Upon a Time.
