Introduction Text I have been diagnosed with metabolic syndrome (pre-diabetes) and want to get my blood sugars under control without the use of medications. My doctor said I could help with this by losing weight, exercising, and eating more healthy. My husband and I recently retired and are enjoying having more time to work on being healthy. UPDATE: 12/20/18 At my last MD appointment, my blood sugars were normal as well as my cholesterol, my triglycerides are decreasing and my thyroid medication was decreased because it was too strong. I have only 10 more pounds to loose to be a healthy weight.
